Individual and Family Therapy- Often people don’t know what to expect in terms of how often they should come or how long therapy will be. There are several options for therapy, depending on your need.
- Individual Intensives- Ideal for those whose schedules don’t permit a regular weekly session. We meet for several hours on one day, cover a lot of ground and get you ready to return to your normal routine with new skills. A few afternoon intensives can allow you to “reset” yourself more quickly. This is also perfect for those who are having an acute crisis which requires a high level of support quickly.
- Traditional Individual Therapy- This is a more traditional approach, meeting once per week for a 50 minute session. Number of sessions depends on individual need. When we first meet, we will set a plan together based on your goals.
- EMDR Therapy- Specific for trauma, these sessions are up to 90 minutes in length and occur weekly until the trauma is resolved. This usually takes 6-8 sessions.
- In home sessions are available upon request and allow privacy and convenience during times of need.
Workshops- For those in need of general support who may not be ready to commit to traditional therapy but want a boost or some new ideas. This is also an opportunity to get to know me and whether I would be the right therapist for you.
Telephone counseling support- Available for existing clients who are out of town, need support between regular sessions or are in crisis an cannot come in person.
